“For reasons known to the public, but in which the Swimming Association of the North of Portugal has got no involvement whatsoever, we inform that the activities of the current season in the swimming pool of Campanhã (Porto) were cancelled.

Being the International Swimming Meeting of Porto the reference event for national and international swimming we inform that the 32nd Edition will not happen.

For the sake of regional swimming we hope this will be a transitory situation and that the city of Porto will continue to welcome great names of the World, European and National Swimming.

It is our intention that the Swimming Association of the North of Portugal will continue to use the swimming pool of Campanhã, after the improvement construction work, with the same current conditions.

Although the main event will not take place, it is rerwarding to see that we continue to be worthy of the support and trust from sponsors and friends of swimming in an unequivocal demonstration of recognition of our organisations.
